So in one of the clubs I'm in on DA this weeks challenge was a gender reversal.... Well last weeks I'm behind.... Guess who I decided I wanted to draw? 8D

XP  This makes me giggle in ways you don't know. He would totally but this really adorable girl with button nose and lots of curves..... And then of course there's going to be the miriad of scars once i get around to coloring this. I love that hair by the way... I so wish i could do something like that to mine, but its not long enough or thick enough.

I haven't gotten a good drawing of Mac yet, she keeps turning out looking like a nerd >_<

And what's funny is that I don't like looking at couples (I know I'm a bitter old crone lol) but for whatever reason I love drawing them together. And I need practice drawinf people interacting with each other.

Dom looks kind of weird in that last pannel with his hair all down and what not. I so accidently colored Mac's hair a shade too light, but meh. They;re still weird to draw at face level to each other since Dom is so freaking tall. Geez >_< He always has to pick Mac up and its damn funny lol XD

Have I told yall how much I love Grey? Because I totally do. He's a REAL MAN! (is so ignoring the fact that he's crazy person) lol But I do love this character more than you'll ever know. I decided thath I want to draw him a little more creepy this time. Damn I am good at creepy. XD

Makes you wonder what he did and why he's telling you to be quiet o.0; What makes it even scarier is in my head I can see this being like a security camera tape (I dunno why its at such a low angle that is besides the point!) and that's all you see of him after he kills someone or something. In a way reminds me of the movie Frailty. Which is one of my favorite movies by the way. When the see the killer on camera the tape messes up and there is a strip of static across his face, on every single camera. It's wicked.

I also did this really cute drawing of Macabre and Dominico today

I know they are so cute it BUUUUUURNS!!!! lol And this time they are both fully clothed points for me. He's to goddamn tall and half the time I can't tell if I'm drawing them proportionatly to each other... So I guess leave me alone :P And I also wasn't lazy and I actually drew Dom's face more structured how it's suposed to be instead of just doing a real quick here is your face thing like I usually do lol.

I love drawing Mac in different clothes it's fun XD And I so want a corset like that too! It's the kind that just button around your waist under your bust and then have the shoulder straps on them. But guess what that item of clothing is for some reason SUPER hard to find of I'd already have one. I know they have been made, I've seen them, I just don't know where to get one at o.o

And now back to last minute finishing costume stuff before next week. And then there shall be an explosion of pictures of my costumes and other people's costumes that I run across :D

I'm so excited for A-kon! I'm going to get my tires fixed in the morning and my oil changed. Then I'm going to check my transmission and pray to God that it's not leaking again (cause if it is I'm screwed) and then I'll be good to go to Dallas and then to Florida in a month!!!!

Dresses

So I started an interesting little project today. Lots of people I know are getting married... Everyone apperently picked the same year or something geez. And since I've been making one of my friends bridesmaid's dresses I've decided that I'm going to make a dress for myself that I can wear to all of these weddings were I'm totally going to get drunk and stand up and make a horibbly embaressing speech about the happy couple.. lol You just wait you happy couples o.o
And well for the ones that I can't make it to... I'll mail you my drunken speech  XP hows that? That is the one thing that sucks about moving. But I'm super excited about moving and besides when all you kiddies that are my friends decide you want to go on vaction you can totally come stay in FL with me for a week and we'll have a party :D

But anywho back to what i was talking about. I've decided that I want to make a 50s styled dress. Like really really really bad. My attempts to find a vintage on in my size or even a recreated one in a decent price range fail epicly (or I got out bid on e-bay... damn you person!!) So I ended up buying a vintage pattern from sandritocat on etsy.com it was this pattern http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=29457899 because I was going mad trying to find on with a neckline simular to that. The faberic I got for it is a charcol grey and is really pretty. Grey has always been on of those colors that I just like, besides it's nice neutral. I think I'm going to modify the neck a little though and make it more of a sweetheart line as long as the collared like part is there I'm happy though. lol I also got some white lace that I'm going to put around the collar and around the bottom of hte skirt, it's going to be spiffy :)
And to make this even cooler I'm making some petticoats to wear underneath it. Cause well number 1 its was the 50s and they wore petticoats uner their dresses so they would flare out more and number 2 I'm going to have the petticoats about and inch or 2 long than the dress so you can see the giant ruffles of color that will be there. I'm making an orange one and a light blue one. I'll be boss!! Also this pattern can totally double as a costume pattern for when I finally get around to making my splicer costume, I just won't be using this kind of material... cheaper stuff cause I'll be destorying it anyway.

I'm so excited, the point I'm at right now everything seems to be going right and I hope it keeps going that way.

Ok so it's time to get rid of some stuff. I'm supposed to be moving here in about a month (with any luck) and quiet frankly I hate packing. This jacket is fully lined with a soft flannel and the outside is made out of a jersey knit. It's a little heavier than your average hoodie. Pockets on sleeves have velcro closers. The fin on the back is filled with an armeture wire and standard stuff anf fluff so this is still machine wasable in cold water but hang to dry!

Kingdom Hearts Organization XIII Cloak $150

Yeah I'm selling this sucker and at a damn good price too considering it cost me over $600 to make. It's made out of PVC which means that it feels and looks like real leather (but it isn't) and is fulling lined. This really is one of the best costumes I've ever made. The chain is adjustable and removable, hood and sleeves are over sized. Front pockets also lined. The lineing on this is pretty awesome to, it won't absolutly murder you during hot summer days (it is all black so you have to account for that) and it will keep you warm during the winter, I used to wear this as my winter coat all the time, it was amazing.

In other news I'm working on my friends Brides Maid Dresses woo!!!! They're cute ^_^

I really hope that I'm going to make it to A-kon 0.0 I reaaaaaaaaaaaaally do. If I'm able to sell a few of these things off in the next week or so I'll be good and I can relax a little and not be so stressed about everything. I really want to make it though because it's probably the last time I'm going to see my friends for a loooooong time since I'm supposed to be moving, and I'm not big on traveling some where that is more than 6 hours away so I'll be very scarces... Besides alot of them are starting to graduate... Maybe some of them will get a job at nickeloden or something and move to FL XD... One can hope

Ok so there's no question about it I have a weak spot for boots and jackets... And high heels if only I could wear thoughs and not kill myself lol XD
