So random thought of the moment... I blame the Queen song playing and this slew of Weddings and fluff drawings. I've always had this sinking suspicion that I'm not cut out for love. Whether it's just because I'm flat out unlovable or unable to do so myself I'm not quiet sure of yet. It's easy when you're friends you know you could call said firend at 4 in the morning and if they heard the phone they would answer and not be pissed at you (well unless you're drunk >_> lol) . Friends will be there for all the crap in your life as well as the good times too and they don't care cause they're you're friend they take care of you cause they know you'll return the favor. Friends are accepting no matter how crazy or messed up you are. I can't count the number of times my friends who have had significataant other will come over and complain about them and say how they just don't want to be around them right now, I've always found that to be an oddity. If this is a person that you are obviously considering spending the rest of your life with since you are dating them, then shouldn't that be a red flag? I mean yeah sometimes you just don't feel like talking to someone for some reason or another but when it's a constaint thing that just seems to be a problem. I've also noticed that they act so differently around the person their dating, this is another thing that I find slightly disturbing. It's not like it's a job interveiw I mean best foot forwad and all that shit but I don't see how hiding yourself is a good thing and then I even have some friends that don't want the person they are dating to hang arounf their friends cause i guess they might find something out. *shrug* Maybe it's just me, but I don't think you should have to be two different people just to date someone. And as I've heard if you have a problem going to said person your dating is not something people do, they go to their friends. Friends won't judge you like that, if they're really friends anyway.

I dunno it just seems like a lot of hassle for not a lot in return. Now there are exception as there are to everything. Some people do find someone to love and love them in return, but quiet frankly I'm to lazy to wade through all of the bullshit to end up in the same position I am now. When you've been single for 21 (almost 22) years it's something you grow accustom to, sure you question it from time to time but for the most part I don't mind at all. I don't have to worry about some other crazy person being around all the time. I was never asked out in Jr. High or High school i only went to things like prom because i got dragged there by my friends and then I just wandered around and ate food (mMmmmm I loves me some food lol) I didn't get asked out by someone until I was 19, which my psychoic brain freaked out and said no to cause that's how I roll XP Out of the 3 guys who have asked me on a date I only still talk to one, he's one of my best friends and I talk to him almost every day. As to whether or not things could have gone that way who knows and who cares cause it's all in the past I like how it is I'd rather have a good friend than date someone if that makes sense. When I think about it.. I probably have a slight phobia of affection, I know that sounds odd, but when you grow up in a house with constaint yelling and fighting these things happen.

Show Me Your Sketch Book and I'll Show You Yourself

Don't ask me what's compelling me to right is particular Blog entry, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it has something to do with all of the muscule relaxers I've taken and the slight fever I have from sleeping on ice packs for the past 2 days.

I've always been a more observant person, I'd rather watch a group of people play video games than be one of the people playing while someone else watches, it's often how things go when people come over to my house. I'll tell them they have to play this game and then force them to do so and I'm a perfectly happy little camper watching. I frequently go to coffe shops, parks, and malls just to watch people and draw them (I'm creepy like that) I even have friends who will invite me to their dance classes just so I can draw them, cause they know that it's something I'd enjoy. (also refure the the blog entery about Agoraphobia).

It's been a proven fact that when people first start drawing and creating characters they tend to look like the person who is doing the drawing. Maybe not exactly but they will always share traits. Because it's familuar to us and well we have our own personal reference right there. For me alot of my character turn up being Blonde or with some form of dyed hair with the bangs being a different color. I tend to cover one eye with hair and more often then not the hair is short in the back than it is in the front. I've had this hair style for years and I love it! (though i often have to cut it myself cause some hairdressers fuck it up) And It translates into my drawings. People also tend to draw things the like in other people. I draw curly, thick hair like there is no tomorrow. I love it! When you have very thin straight as a board hiar like I do there is just something magical and whimsical about curly hair. I also tend to color it in very dark tones. Dark reds and blacks. Brown is to in the middle lol. I also tend to pay special attention to wrists, hips, and legs on my charaters. Thin wrists, pretty hips, and long legs. These are all things I like about myself and I like in other people.

Fun fact: I'm in a categoery of people who have longer legs than the average person, my thighs alone are longer than the length of my torso. I also have a very short torso and am only 7 heads high instead of the ordinary 7 1/2

And my drawings tend to reflect that with the exception of rare ocurancy. And those drive me bannana's cause It always looks like their legs are too short o.o

My woman tend to have hourglass figures (just like me!) with small waists and breast and hips that are equal in size. Sometimes some pears get in there (hips are important!!!) and I find it expecially difficulat for myself to draw ruler, apple, and upsider down pear body types for women. They just don't look right to me. For men it tends to be the typical heroic underside down triangle. I think I'm supconsiously looking for a guy who is "heroic" persay and not a total twat-waffle. (can't you see i hold sooooo much stock in men? lol XD that and well my guy friends are my heroes basicly) Everyonce in a while some squares sneak in there (puddgy love handles are cute :3 ).

But mostly I find it hard to devert from these body types because one of the main differences between males and females (besides genitals) is that woman's butts extend past the top of their backs and men's backs extend past their bottoms. That was one of the main discoveries that helped me start drawing men. That and Men have harder angles while woman have rounder ones.

But more than just the people looking like use you can see moods in drawings. Even if the drawing it's self is supposed to be dark but the colors you use are more viberent then you obviously weren't in as dark of a mood as say if it was all in grey washes of those colors, you can also see it in subject matter and brush stokes.

For example when I had my fun cancer times and I lost over 30 pounds within the span of only a few months. I started drawing really boney people. People that you could litterally sit there and count the ribs one. You could see hips, knee joints, spines. All that fun stuff, it was alot more subtile than things I had drawn before where there was skin pealing off of left arms with broken bones inside (I've broken that arm so many times that all the nerves got twisted up and there not much feeling in that arm, I used to be completely ambidextrous) Because with something like that you can hide your ribs under clothing and it was mostly something that I was dealing with solely on my own. Most of these drawings like this that fill up a couple of sketch books also have no faces. There are drawings that you can obviously tell that I wasn't in a good place and the subject matter tells you that I was sick at that time.

I've only gained back 5lbs since then and I do still draw boney people but not with the same attitude, these people are drawn more happier obviously. :3 My sketchbooks are filled with alot happier things since then. Well maybe not seemingly happier, but with happier intentions. You can't always see it in the subject matter persay. I've always drawn goreier things in my sketchbooks, which I sure can trace back to something like my love of old school horror movies or things like that. But the point I'm getting at is, sure you can tell alot about a person just by the way they carry themselves, but seeing their sketch book it like reading their diary there is SOOOOOOO much more information.

Seriously sometimes I really just want to steal people's sketchbooks and go through them so I can figure things out. o.o Probably why I like DA cause it's like sharing your sketchbook, maybe not to most secretive parts of it cause those only come out in horrid little doodles at 3 am and then you ask yourself why you drew this? But still small portions.

I know some of you recall me whining because I ordered those shoes from the GODS!!!!

In black and as it turned out the toe area was pretty narrow so i returned them for half a size up so I could walk and not hate myself. Well I got an e-mail back say that they were now out of stock for the 8 1/2... and upset me cause I was all kinds of moods that day so I went on an insane search to see if i could find the right size anywhere. i even ended up finding the knock off version of these shoes since i dug so much (for only $21 instead of $120. lol) and I couldn't even find my size in though they were either way too small or way to big. It's soul crushing i tell you!!!! (And i totally still want them >_> I'm thinking about ordering the cream ones cause they now have those in my size :3)

50s Dress

The dress I've been making for myself :3 It's made from a pattern that is actually from the 50s. Even though I was super parinod about ripping the pattern or it just crumbling since it's so old. It's the oldest pattern I own. I really like how it's coming out though.

That petticoat has been giving me problems o.o it's pretty though and pretty damn good from my first try is it do say so myself. It sits higher on me that it is on the maniquin, you can't see the sheer parts of the petticoat when I wear it. And I'd like to state that yes I did purposly make it longer than the dress so you could see it.

I still need to sew the lace into the neck. :3 I like it. Lace is my friend 8D

And yeah I totally cut the duct tape dummy off of my maniquin cause I need to use it o.o

No that Movie Did NOT Suck

Ok I'm only going to say thing once....

The Last Airbender did NOT suck! Jesus Christ you have no idea how many people I want to punch in the face that are friends with me on faebook cause they keep trashing it like nobodies bussiness. Where you really expecting them to carbon copy the animated serise into 2 hours from the first season. If were then why the fuck did you go see it? Sure there were a few shitty camera moves, but I seriously think that M Night sometimes just gets to excited and punches the camera guy in the face and decides he want to try it out. lol He's crazy like that. Almost all of those actors this was their very first movie they've never acted before, it was on about the same level as some of the new kiddies in Grand Trismo. But you know what, the message of the movie was very clear and it even made on of my friends want to borrow all of the seasons of the animated series from me.

Therefore I believe that YES that movie did it's job. Sure it's not like the movie of the summer, but it's not shit that you whipe off the bottom of your boot either. I happen to like that movie. I will buy it when it comes out and I will see ALL of the others when it comes out.

And no I'm not going to be a dick and spoil the movie in this post, but at least go and make your own conculsions about it instead of listening to everyone else inculding me.
